I have Grave's Disease, it is a thyroid imbalance. Currently I am in remission!  I still have to be careful of what and how much I eat and I have to watch my heart rate and blood pressure.  Changes in either can signal the thyroid is over producting again.  Still learning how to cook.   That is an adventure in itself.  I have never had the patience to cook.   And it is getting easier :)

I like to ride my bike.  When I am riding, and my legs are pumping and I am struggling to keep my breath deep and smooth, it is a spiritual experience for me.  I also like the practice of Yoga.  It is soothing for me to focus on my breath and to learn to let go, surrender into the pose and what it means.
